I would like to share this concerning the influence and impact of sin and how it works.When sin enters a persons mind,and he/she entertains it to the point of action, that person(if their spirit does not belong to God)over time can become possessed.
By doing these acts the person has opened a gateway for the devil and his minions to influence,oppress and finaly possess their soul.Even for followers of christ this can happen to a certain degree,because we are born again and spirits are taken over by God,we cannot be possessed but we can be influenced and even oppressed.  This is only because some allow it(this is what the term "yielding to the flesh" means) because of ignorance of God's word (My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children Hosea 4:6).Some actually know the word but do not take the next step to renew their minds in christ and literally cling or hold on to the (flesh)carnal ways ;hence giving the devil a gateway into their souls (Romans 12;2 And do not be conformed to this world,but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.) 

This is why constant  and consistent intake of God's word and self evaluation through God's word are not only critical but essential to a christians growth,and day by day this spiritual excersise chips away all the carnal habits of our bodies as we go through "spiritual evolution" and become what God intended His original creation.We were created for God's pleasure and worship.Amen.
